This series focuses on the town of Mysitc Falls, Virginia, where super natural things happen. There are different kinds of supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, witches, and dopplegangers. This series can't be compared with a normal life because of the creatures that exist in it, but Elena Gilbert was a normal girl with a normal life, she had a family and she went to school just like everybody does, but then she met someone who changed her whole life. She met a vampire named Stefan Salvatore, at first she didn't know what he was, but then she discovered it, but it was too late because she had already fallen in love with him so she couldn't get away from him so she needed to be strong and continue her relation with him, but she didn't know she was walking straight into the danger and problems. Then she met Damon Salvatore, Stefan's brother, which is the "bad one" because he doesn't care about anything. Elena has two best friends Bonnie and Caroline but they also change with the time. Things keep getting worst, more problems to deal with, and Elena is just trying to protect the people she loves but it it's very difficult to her, people keep dying.
I recommend a lot this series because it has a little bit of everything, action, fiction, love, etc. this series is made for every type of people but it is mostly for girls, boys would also think that.
